The Bonnie Prince Charlie Walk

The Bonnie Prince Charlie Walk follows the road the Jacobite army took between Derby and Ashbourne in December 1745. Jon starts at the prince’s statue on Cathedral Green and leads walkers through and out of the city, telling the story of the prince, his army and Derby’s highwaymen as the route unfolds.

For longer walks and events, Jon can join a group at points along the route, popping up in fields and at landmarks to bring the next chapter of the story to life.
